I walked down the dirt road with you, Lesa as you share your journey to pray more. I realized that there is no magic genie, like I look for to fix what is broken; my heart. I find myself walking down a similar dirt road, alone, feeling my prayers have not been heard. Lesa clearly you give a personal insight to make your reader ponder a serious question, what are my prayers and what am I not hearing from God in return? Am I not listening because I do not like what I am hearing? Do I not trust in His word to walk with me through my darkness? Lesa, you openly throw herself out there for your readers to question their own prayers; more importantly their own commitment to their relationship with God. My sincere gratitude Lesa, for sharing your journey with me. A journey we all travel but very few surrender to.

It used to surprise me when I'd think of something I want or need and without any action on my part it just revealed itself to me. That's what happened with this book.

I'd just recently been finding myself somewhat frustrated with all the noise of the world. Some good, some bad - but a lot of noise. And I'd been taking steps to force myself to be quiet and just listen more. That's what this book is about.

We're in an age where little praise for or conversation about being quiet and talking to/listening to God exists mainstream. What I love about Lesa's book is it's not "preachy" or holier than thou. Through Lesa's words you can clearly tell she's a woman who has grown, and continues to, in her faith and just wants everyone to know God is available to us wherever we are in our walk.

A quick beautiful read and perfect for anyone who has lost his way or has all the faith in the world.

Well done.

After I read Lesa's book, I was compelled to just sit and think ( for quite awhile ) about my walk with The Lord . Listening to her story helped me to see that I am still in the beginning phase of my journey. It taught me, that in order to further my walk I had to step outsize my comfort zone and do exactly as the title states" Talk Less Pray More". I am thankful that I read this book. It has enlightened my life ( and I know it will others) in so many ways!

I just finished this book and really appreciated the honesty and openness of the author. Lesa Day challenges you to grow in your faith in a very gentle and nurturing way.

Highly recommended for small group reading and discussion. Each chapter would be great for one week of study. I bought multiple copies to give as gifts to my family and friends because of the universal message about God's love and mercy.

God will use Talk Less, Pray More to bring great blessings upon those that read it.

Agape,
Freddie

I love your work! Your heart, honesty, and transparency are both inspiring and refreshing. I will be sharing your work with friends of mine who I know will be blessed by your book.

A true inspiration for anyone who is walking their own journey with God. Lesa gives us a lot to think about as we follow her on her walk with our Father in Heaven and our own walk with Him. It is a fast and easy read. This book is very helpful for me as I walk with God and get to know him better through his word. Thank you Lesa for the words to think about as I walk on my journey with God. You are a true inspiration for me.

Hey, thanks for the amazing post! :D

Lesa's book will help you prepare for and successfully endure all life's toughest moments!Life is hard and sometimes a long season of difficulty will unintentionally cause a person to begin to doubt all sorts of things he/she once believed in strongly during better times. Lesa's book is a wonderful reminder that our first priority must be developing intimacy with our Lord....because if we are serious about our faith, we already know HE is the only one who can see far enough into the future to guide us through any circumstance - no matter how painful it might be. The more intimacy we have with our Lord, the harder it is for Satan to interfere with out lives during difficult times.

I would strongly encourage you to read this book and buy 2 extra copies to give away to people going through difficult circumstances. Lesa's book may be exactly what they need to maintain hope and find peace through their challenges until G-d brings them to the other side.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm one of the women from Crossroads Church, in the group reading your book "Talk Less Pray More". I have never known such an intimate relationship between a person and the Lord. It's nothing short of amazing, beautiful and a true blessing. I crave that same relationship and your words are getting me a little closer everyday. Thank you for the inspiration and honesty. I'm a recovering addict and hearing your story gives me hope that I can continue to beat the odds with His help... Thank you again, for the inspiration
